Position Overview
The EHS Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulations and promote a safe workplace. This role involves conducting risk assessments, analyzing hazards, and fostering a culture of safety within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and recommend control measures.
Provide training and support to employees on safety practices, environmental regulations, and health initiatives.
Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement in safety and environmental management.
Collaborate with various departments to integrate EHS considerations into operational practices and decision-making processes.
Stay updated on OSHA regulations and environmental laws to ensure company compliance and mitigate risks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in hazard analysis and risk identification
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance standards.
Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing hazard analysis strategies.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and their implications for workplace health and safety.
Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
