Location: Clearwater, FL or Tampa, FL
Salary: $150,000 - $225,000 annually

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Department Manager to lead our Water/Wastewater division. This role offers a dynamic leadership opportunity to work on high-impact projects, collaborate with diverse teams, and drive innovation in the engineering field.

Your Role:

As the Electrical Department Manager, you will oversee all aspects of electrical engineering projects, ensuring they meet client expectations and align with organizational standards. You'll play a pivotal role in team leadership, project execution, and client interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement action plans to achieve project milestones within budget and schedule.
• Lead projects from design through permitting and completion, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Act as the main client liaison, preparing detailed technical reports, specifications, and permit submissions.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality and efficiency.
• Analyze processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Mentor team members and provide guidance to ensure successful project delivery.

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration or the ability to obtain it.
• 10+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Revit, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong expertise in power distribution, motor controls, lighting, grounding systems, and technical specifications.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the water/wastewater industry, specifically in consulting engineering.
• Knowledge of permitting processes at local, state, and federal levels.
