Electrical Estimator

Position Overview
The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical construction projects. This role requires a keen understanding of electrical systems and a strong background in construction estimating to ensure that bids are both competitive and feasible.

Key Responsibilities

Review project plans and specifications to determine necessary estimates
Prepare and maintain detailed cost estimates for electrical installations
Utilize Accubid and TurboBid software for estimating and costing
Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to develop comprehensive bids
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to confirm project requirements
Attend bid meetings and site visits to gather information for estimates
Provide support during contract negotiations and project execution

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction industry
Proficiency in Accubid and TurboBid estimating software
If you have experience with McCormick - plus
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
