Project Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee construction projects focused on heavy civil works, particularly levees, dirtwork/earthwork, and remediation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical and earthwork projects, ensuring compliance with regulations while managing budgets and schedules effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
Develop and maintain project budgets, providing accurate estimates and monitoring expenses throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate potential project risks.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure design and construction quality aligns with project goals.
Engage in business development activities to identify and secure new project opportunities.
Provide training and support to team members on project management best practices and compliance standards.
Manage regional travel as needed for site visits, client meetings, and project oversight.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards in all project activities.

Qualifications

8+ years experience as a Project Manager, Engineering, and or supervision in construction.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Master's Degree a major plus.
Strong knowledge of geotechnical and earthwork processes.
Familiarity with USACE regulations and environmental compliance requirements.
Proficient in project estimation, budgeting, and scheduling tools.
Excellent risk assessment and management skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities, with a focus on team collaboration and development.
