Position Overview
We are a General Contractor looking to hire a Project Manager! The Project Manager will oversee commercial construction projects (mostly multi-family) from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. This role involves managing project teams, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and close construction projects according to deadlines and within budget.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
- Manage project teams, including subcontractors and laborers, to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and updates to stakeholders and upper management.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them effectively.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and financial reports.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in construction, preferably in multi-family and/or commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Ability to work fully on-site.
- Travel locally when needed to construction sites.
