We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Control Manager (QCM) to oversee the quality assurance and quality control processes for our commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the highest standards of quality and safety, meeting or exceeding project specifications and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement quality control plans for all phases of construction projects.
-Review and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and construction documents to ensure compliance.
-Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor adherence to quality standards and procedures.
-Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
-Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
-Ensure that all materials and workmanship meet or exceed project specifications and regulatory requirements.
-Provide training and guidance to construction teams on quality control procedures and best practices.
-Prepare and submit detailed quality control reports to project stakeholders.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
-At least 5+ years of experience in a quality control role within the commercial construction industry.
-Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards.
-Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
-Effective communication and leadership skills.
