Job Description:
Lead estimation efforts for infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness in bids.
Negotiate pricing and adjust project scope as needed to meet client expectations and maximize project success.
Cultivate client relationships and actively engage with potential new clients to expand business opportunities.
Spearhead the estimation process from initial bid to final proposal, overseeing all aspects of the process.
Analyze project documents, including blueprints and specifications, to prepare comprehensive and accurate cost estimates.
Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and optimize bid strategies.
Qualifications:
Minimum of five years' experience in civil estimating within the construction industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
Proficiency in estimating software and tools such as B2W, AGTEK, or equivalent, to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a proven track record of effectively engaging with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards shared goals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship as needed.
