Construction Superintendent

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage our construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and building codes. General Contractor and Industrial Renovation Projects are great to have.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations on the job site to ensure project timelines are met
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and vendors to ensure project specifications are followed
Manage project scope and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
Review and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to guide construction activities
Prepare and maintain project schedules using tools like Procore and MS Project
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work
Handle Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals to ensure all project requirements are fulfilled
Facilitate communication and engagement with stakeholders, including clients and project teams
Manage project budgets and ensure financial accountability
Lead safety meetings and enforce safety protocols on the job site

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent in industrial or commercial construction
Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
Familiarity with multi-family and tower projects is a plus
Proficient in project management software such as Procore, MS Project, or Primavera P6
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and project scope
Ability to manage subcontractors and vendors effectively
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
Strong problem-solving skills and crisis management capabilities
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred
