Position Overview
The Asphalt Foreman is responsible for overseeing asphalt paving operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing crew activities, coordinating with project managers and clients, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and DOT standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and lead asphalt paving crew on job sites.
Plan and coordinate daily activities related to paving operations.
Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
Monitor labor and material costs to maintain budget.
Conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure project timelines are met.
Train and mentor crew members in best practices for asphalt paving.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Asphalt Foreman or similar role in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of paving techniques and DOT regulations.
Experience with civil roadway construction projects.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license and ability to operate machinery.
