Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Tax Staff to join our growing public accounting firm. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and review of various tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations while providing excellent service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals (1120S, 1120, 1040)
Assist in tax planning and compliance for clients across various industries
Research tax law changes and their implications for clients
Maintain accurate and organized documentation related to tax filings
Collaborate with senior staff in the preparation of complex tax returns and special projects
Utilize technology and SaaS applications to streamline tax processes and enhance efficiency
Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on their filings

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA certification or in progress is preferred
1-2 years of experience in public accounting or tax preparation
Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance
Proficient in tax software and technology, with experience in SaaS applications a plus
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
