Salary: $100k-150k (DOE)
Requirements: At least 5+ years of Public Accounting, at least 5+ years Audit/Assurance Exp. at a CPA firm

Position Overview
The Not-For-Profit Audit Manager will oversee audit engagements for various not-for-profit organizations, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards. This role involves managing audit processes, leading teams, and providing strategic insights to enhance financial reporting and governance for clients in the not-for-profit sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements for a portfolio of not-for-profit clients, ensuring timely and accurate completion of audits.
• Supervise and mentor audit staff, providing training and guidance throughout the audit process.
• Review and analyze financial statements, audit reports, and internal controls for compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for audit-related inquiries.
• Identify audit risk areas and recommend effective solutions to clients to enhance their financial operations.
• Prepare and present audit findings to clients, including recommendations for improvements.
• Stay updated on industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices in the not-for-profit sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of audit experience, with a focus on not-for-profit organizations preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory requirements relevant to not-for-profit entities.
• Proven leadership and team management skills in a professional services environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
